We want to make local residents aware especially in Braunstone Town and Thorpe Astley that there has been a spike of theft from motor vehicles. 🚗
We are aware of recent suspicious activity in Thorpe Astley whereby some individuals were seen trying car doors. The beat team are undertaking enquires to identify these individuals as well as conducting proactive patrols at peak times to deter offences being committed.
A gentle reminder to keep vehicles locked and windows up when not in use and to not display any valuables that might attract thieves.
